Equinox Gold is developing the Valentine Gold Project in Central Newfoundland. The company is focused on transparency, accountability and responsible mining practices, and is committed to maximizing the project's socioeconomic impact and community benefits while minimizing adverse effects.

Beyond their own commitments, the targets are regulatory and contractual. A Benefits Agreement between the Valentine Gold Project and the Provincial Government sets specific employment objectives and contracting requirements on local content. The team knew a manual process would be cumbersome and error prone, and went looking for software that could collect contractor data efficiently, provide insights on local impact, and align with corporate reporting.
